East Side House has remained on the frontlines of the pandemic bringing hope to struggling communities of color. 

In response to the needs of the community, East Side House launched a hunger relief program that rescues food from struggling farmers to feed 5,000 people per week and delivers meals for over 900 homebound older adults per day. Simultaneously, they continued to operate safe in-person learning services for thousands of students so that they could stay on track academically, even amidst school closures.
